Welcome back, Cougs!

Spring break is almost upon us, but try not to get too burnt out these last couple of days before a week of fun. I hope a lot of you are traveling, but if you end up staying in Pullman, there is still much for you to do around town so you are not bored without school every day.

Enjoy!

Les Misérables

  • What: Pullman High School’s live performance of Les Misérables
  • When: 7 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays and 2 p.m. Saturdays through March 16
  • Where: Pullman High School Auditorium
  • Cost: $5 for students, $10 for adults

Live Music

  • What: Live music featuring Half Step Ahead
  • When: 7:30 p.m. March 8
  • Where: Another Round Brewing Company in Pullman

Robin Hood

  • What: Live showing of Robin Hood
  • When: 6 p.m. March 8; 2 and 6 p.m. March 9
  • Where: Daggy Hall
  • Cost: $5–10

Winter Market

  • What: Indoor farmer’s market
  • When: 10 a.m.–2 p.m. March 16
  • Where: Brelsford Visitor Center

Cougs Got Talent

  • What: Students compete in an annual talent show to win $500 with a celebrity guest judge deciding on the winner; audition tapes due to [email protected] by March 7
  • When: 5:30 p.m. March 20
  • Where: Compton Union Building Auditorium

Jeffrey Gibson: They Teach Love

  • What: Exhibition of work by internationally recognized artist Jeffrey Gibson
  • When: 10 a.m.–4 p.m. Tuesdays–Saturdays until March 9
  • Where: Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art WSU

Here in a Homemade Forest: Common Reading Connections

  • What: Exhibition of work by Indigenous and non-Indigenous American artists inspired by the WSU common reading book “Braiding Sweetgrass” by Robin Wall Kimmerer
  • When: 10 a.m.–4 p.m. Tuesdays–Saturdays until March 9
  • Where: Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art 

Knit and Crochet Class

  • What: Beginners knitting and crochet classes
  • When: First and third Saturdays of the month until April 20
  • Where: Yard Underground in Moscow
  • Cost: $79 for four knitting classes; $69 for four crochet classes; materials included

Movement in the Park

  • What: Accessible movement classes for all ages
  • When: 11 a.m. every Monday, Wednesday and Friday through May 17
  • Where: 1912 Center in Moscow

Alexandria started working for the Evergreen in October 2020 as a news reporter and eventually hopped around to the roots/life, opinion and culture sections. BRANDON WILLMAN, Multimedia editor
Brandon Willman is a junior multimedia journalism student from Vancouver, Washington. He started working as a sportswriter for the Daily Evergreen in Fall 2022 and worked as copy editor in spring 2023. Brandon was elected to be the Editor-in-chief starting in summer 2023 and served in the position from May 2023 to February 2024 before transitioning to the role of multimedia editor. He enjoys watching sports, backpacking, and watching horror movies.
