Coming back for its second year, the Intersectional Advocacy Coalition of Whitman County will host a festival to celebrate Pride Month on June 21.

The event starts at 9 a.m. with sign-making at Pups & Cups, followed by a rally at Cougar Plaza. After the rally, participants will parade through downtown Pullman to Raney Park at 11:30 a.m., where there will be a celebration with live music, crafts, dancing and a fashion show until 6 p.m.
The event is family-friendly and welcomes everyone.
The theme of the event is Ballroom, a glamorous subculture that was prominent among the Black and Latinx Queer community in New York City during the 1970s and 1980s.
Ballroom has been immortalized through the 1990 documentary Paris is Burning and the 2018 TV show Pose.
