Larissa’s Apron, the health food restaurant selling acai bowls and smoothies, just relocated to downtown on Grand Avenue and I had to pay a visit.
The employees greeted me as soon as I walked in and were all super nice and helpful, making the experience even better.
I tried the Cloud 9, which is a blend of pineapple, blue Spirulina, coconut, banana and agave, topped with granola and bee pollen. It was ready in less than five minutes and it looked exactly like the pictures I had seen online.
The Cloud 9 was so good. It tasted very smooth and light which I enjoyed. The touch of bee pollen left a sweet aftertaste which satisfied my sweet tooth craving while still being healthy.
They have endless options such as acai bowls, pressed juices and even breakfast items. The bowls range from $9.99 to $14.99, depending on what size you get.
A customer, Lilly Lesniak, was inside the cafe and shared her thoughts.
“It is so cute inside. I love all the decorations. Everyone who works here is really nice, and I really enjoyed their seating. They had fun games to play, and the smoothie I got was amazing,” she said.
The atmosphere in Larissa’s was calm, making it the perfect spot to study. Customer Brooke Williamson was there with a group of friends.
“The environment is very uplifting, the food is super good and I think it’s doing a great job of bringing more healthy options into Pullman,” Williamson said.
Whether you want to try something new or are looking for a quiet, calm environment to study with healthy options, Larissa’s Apron is definitely a place to check out.
