Whitman County confirms 21 new COVID-19 cases

One person is in the hospital; county total is 1,112 cases

Twenty-one individuals tested positive for COVID-19, bringing Whitman County’s total to 1,112 cases. 

Ten people aged 0-19 years tested positive. Five of them are female, and five are male, according to a press release from the Whitman County Emergency Operations Center. Ten people aged 20-39 years tested positive, four of whom are female and six of whom are male. One male aged 60-79 years tested positive.

One person who previously tested positive is in the hospital. All other patients are stable and self-isolating.

Residents are reminded to practice social distancing and wear masks.
