Whitman County confirms one death, seven new COVID-19 cases

17 total deaths in Whitman County; five people in hospital

One female aged 60-79 years died from COVID-19, which brings the county’s total number of deaths to 17.

Seven individuals tested positive for COVID-19, raising Whitman County’s total number of cases to 1,824, according to a press release from the Whitman County Emergency Operations Center.

Of the new cases, one female is aged 0-19 years. One female and one male are aged 20-39 years. One female and two males are aged 60-79 years. One female is over 80 years old.

Five people are in the hospital. All other patients are stable and self-isolating.

Residents are reminded to wear masks and practice social distancing.
