Whitman County confirms 120 new positive COVID-19 cases in last week

County has running total of 3,396 cases; WSU Pullman has 45 active cases

From Feb. 20 to March 1, 120 individuals tested positive for COVID-19, raising Whitman County’s running total to 3,396.

There have been a total of 45 COVID-related deaths as of March 1. A total of 91 people have been hospitalized in the county, according to Monday’s press release from the Whitman County Emergency Operations Center. 

Of the new cases, 25 females and 25 males are aged 1-19 years. Nineteen females and 28 males are aged 20-39 years. Six females and 11 males are aged 40-59 years. Two females and four males are aged 60-79 years, according to a press release. 

WSU Pullman has a running total of 2,152 positive COVID-19 cases and 45 active cases as of March 1, according to the WSU COVID-19 Dashboard.
