As we draw closer and closer to finals week for students, many student-athletes are just hitting their stride for the spring season. This week features more baseball, track and field, tennis and golf.

Friday, April 23

All-day — The women’s golf team heads to Stanford, California for the first round of the Pac-12 championships. Live stats can be followed online.

10 a.m. — The Cougars tennis team faces Colorado in the first round of the Pac-12 Championships in San Diego. In the previous meeting this season between the two programs, the Buffaloes pulled out a narrow 4-3 victory in Boulder, Colorado. The winner of this matchup will face top-seeded No. 8 UCLA. The match will likely be streamed by the Pac-12 Network.

3 p.m. — The WSU track and field team heads down to Eugene, Oregon for the Oregon Relays event. The field events will begin at 3 p.m., while track begins at 6 p.m. Events will wrap a little after 9 p.m. on Friday.

7 p.m. — Get ready for a little night baseball, as the Cougars head to Berkley, California to take on the California Golden Bears. This week, the Cougars got a rare midweek stretch with no game. California currently holds a 58-40-1 all-time advantage in the series, with 36 of those 58 wins coming in their home park. The Cougars have not beaten Cal since taking the second end of a double-header by a score of 4-3 in ten innings back in 2018. The last time WSU took the series was in 2015. The was also the last time the Cougars have one in Berkley. Game one will be live on the Pac-12 Network.

Saturday, April 24

All-day/TBA — Day two of the Pac-12 championships take place for both women’s golf and tennis. Should tennis defeat Colorado, they will face No. 8 UCLA in the second round. Golf will compete no matter what on day two of their event. Tennis will likely be streamed by the Pac-12, while live stats for golf can be followed online.

10 a.m. — Day two of the Oregon Relays get underway. The field events begin at 10 a.m., while track kicks off at noon. At 1 p.m., the USATF Grand Prix begins and will run until 4 p.m.

4 p.m. — Baseball heads back to the diamond for game two against Cal. Once again, the game will be live on the Pac-12 Network.

6 p.m. — Former Coug Logan Tago and the Utah Warriors take on the Houston Sabercats. After a hot 2-0 start to the year for Utah, the Warriors have dropped their last three games and will be looking to bounce back. The game can be streamed on the Rugby Network.

Sunday, April 25

All-day — Women’s golf ends the Pac-12 championships with the final round of competition, as they look for a strong finish to their season. Live stats can be followed online.

Noon — Baseball wraps up their three-game series with the Golden Bears with a midday game on Sunday. Just like the previous two games, the series finale will be on the Pac-12 Network.

Monday, April 26

All-day — The day after women’s golf wraps their year up, men’s golf heads to Santa Rosa, California for the first round of their Pac-12 championships.
