Pullman Police Department responded to 114 calls for service between Friday and Monday morning, including noise complaints, trespassing and gunshot sounds.

Gunshots were reported Saturday night at a party at the Hills on Grand, said Pullman PD Sgt. Greg Umbright. A man at the party allegedly fired shots into the air. There are currently no leads on who that might be.

Pullman police arrested two individuals Saturday on suspicion of driving under the influence, he said.

WSU police also made a DUI arrest after the football game at the intersection of Olympia Avenue and Forest Way, said WSU PD Assistant Chief Steve Hansen.

WSU PD had a normal weekend, he said. This is likely because of the smaller crowd at the football game.

Pullman PD responded to seven car accidents, four of which were hit and runs, Umbright said. No injuries were reported.

One trespassing arrest was made when an individual returned to a fraternity after he was kicked out. Police arrested another individual at Domino’s Pizza at Adams Mall, Umbright said.

An individual reportedly made suicidal comments Saturday night. Police transported them to Pullman Regional Hospital, Umbright said.

Many welfare checks were alcohol-related. Several people were transported to PRH for alcohol consumption, he said. These welfare checks are often made when someone has too much to drink, is passed out or needs a ride home.

One caller also reported a moose in their backyard, Umbright said.
