Unsure what to get your Coug-loving family for the holidays this year? We’ve all been there; gift shopping is hard enough without the added stress of finals week.

Well have no fear. You can find gifts for the whole family without ever leaving campus. The Bookie and Ferdinand’s Ice Cream Shoppe have all of your needs for one-stop shopping for the entire family.

For mom, consider a WSU-themed coffee mug, along with a WSU pom-pom beanie, so she can bundle up with a nice cup of coffee on those chilly winter mornings. Is your mom not a coffee or tea drinker? Maybe she is in need of a good water bottle, which, lucky for you, The Bookie has a plethora of (especially Hydro Flasks). If she is always on the go, a Coug phone wallet could make her life a lot easier. Less to carry, less to worry about!

For dad, you can never go wrong with a “WSU dad” t-shirt. I know from personal experience, I got my dad one, and he seldom takes it off. You might also want to go for an old favorite — Cougar Gold cheese from Ferdinand’s. What dad doesn’t like cheese? I can’t think of one.

Shopping for your sister or brother might be a little difficult, depending on what age they are and what they are interested in. If they are younger, think about visiting the children’s clothing section on the bottom floor of The Bookie, they have an array of fun designs, colors and styles of clothing. Coug-face tattoos and stickers (sparkly or normal) are also great options if you are unsure what to get. For older siblings, there are Coug-themed cornhole sets available for your brother’s next barbecue and Coug pajamas for your sister.

We can’t forget about grandma and grandpa. Aim to buy them something they will actually use, a more practical gift, like a Coug fleece blanket or a decorative pillow to spice up their living room. Grandpa would love a personalized glass tumbler for his drinks, and there are even matching glasses available.

Whether you’re in a rush to get your holiday shopping done before break or just want to start thinking ahead, these gifts are sure to warm the hearts of the whole family. At the very least, you won’t show up empty-handed for the holidays.
