Aspen Heights Development is expected to construct one of Pullman’s first roundabouts at the north end of Grand Avenue.

The company will be building student housing on the intersection of North Grand Avenue and Albion Road, according to a Pullman Radio News article.

The construction of this housing project is expected to result in increased traffic to the surrounding area, according to the article.

A roundabout is the preferred option for traffic improvement, according to Washington State Department of Transportation and city officials.

In order to begin construction for the roundabout, Aspen Heights Development will need to get approval from the city and WSDOT to build the roundabout, according to the article.

City council members will discuss approval at their meeting Tuesday, according to the article.

If this roundabout is approved, it will coincide with the construction of another roundabout being built this summer on the intersection of Terre View Drive and North Fairway Road, according to the article.

The city has been planning the Terre View Drive and North Fairway Road roundabout since 2020, according to the article.
