Meditate stress away at Sanctuary Yoga

Learn how to meditate the stress of life away through a one hour workshop.

Sanctuary Yoga hopes to shed light on how people often find themselves in heightened states of stress and to bring awareness to how meditation relieves stress by calming the mind through breathing exercises, according to their Facebook page.

The breathing exercise will allow the mind to acknowledge the areas of stress that lie in the heart. Once there is acknowledgement of the stressful places, it will be easier to live with and overcome these stresses.

The Mindfulness Meditation Workshop is free for members of Sanctuary Yoga and $15 for nonmembers. It is from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Aug. 28. at Sanctuary Yoga.
