Cougar student athletes join Conference Honor Roll
Each athlete has at least 3.3 GPA, 10 more than winter attributed to more spring sports

A total of 71 WSU student-athletes were recognized by the Pac-12 for their success in the classroom, being named to the 2022 Spring Pac-12 Academic Honor Roll, announced by the conference office Tuesday.
Student-athletes earned a spot on the spring honor roll by earning a 3.3 GPA or greater and attending their current school for at least one year.
The 2022 Spring academic honor roll of 71 WSU student-athletes includes nine from baseball, 20 from women’s outdoor track & field, 14 from men’s outdoor track & field, 17 from women’s rowing, three from women’s golf, four from men’s golf and four from tennis.
The 2022 Winter Academic Honor Roll of 61 WSU student-athletes, includes one from men’s basketball, 10 from women’s basketball, 17 from men’s indoor track & field, 22 from women’s indoor track & field and 11 from swimming.
The 2022 Spring Academic Honor Roll throughout the Pac-12 includes 1,102 student-athletes who participated in the Conference-sponsored sports of baseball, beach volleyball, men’s and women’s golf, women’s lacrosse, men’s and women’s rowing, softball, men’s and women’s tennis, and men’s and women’s outdoor track and field.
Last winter, a total of 61 WSU student-athletes were named to the 2022 Winter Pac-12 Academic Honor Roll which was 10 fewer students than the 2022 Spring Pac-12 Academic Honor Roll.
The 2022 winter Academic Honor Roll of 61 WSU student-athletes included one from men’s basketball, 10 from women’s basketball, 17 from men’s indoor track & field, 22 from women’s indoor track & field, and 11 from swimming.
The newest additions academic honor roll for WSU include Connor Barison, Cooper Barnum, Kolby Kmetko, Kodie Kolden, Jacob McKeon, Jake Meyer, Jack Smith, Kyler Stancato and Grant Taylor who represent baseball.
The increase of WSU student-athletes placed on spring honor roll is because of the start of rowing season where Emma Barrett, Lucy Climer-Kennedy, Eleanor Curtright, Caitlin Donaldson, Cate Field, Isabella Gore-Rivero, Ella Greenslade, Audrey Gulig, Gabby Hannen, Ilaria Macchi, Meg Montgomery, Maddy Pollard, Samantha Schmidt, Ainsley Tiernan, Grace Trujillo, Sydney Wick and Lina Winiski earned the honor.
