Starting Monday, Pullman residents will face traffic delays along Grand Avenue and Main Street.

Over a week after the town’s water main broke Saturday, Motley-Motley Inc. will replace the damaged road and reconstruct curbs along South Grand Avenue, spanning 300 feet north of Center Street and 50 feet west of the north lane, according to a City of Pullman press release

On Monday and Tuesday, the west side of South Grand Avenue will be reduced to one lane but will reopen after 10 p.m. Construction will then shift to the east side of the street until Thursday, allowing two-lane traffic, according to the press release.

Construction will take place anywhere from 7 a.m. – 10 p.m., according to the press release.

Drivers will also notice core drilling along Main Street as a result of the Pullman Downtown Improvement Project, according to a City of Pullman press release.

From 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. on Monday, lanes will be closed at various locations along the street, depending on where Geoprofessional Innovation is drilling at that time. The company will not block driveway access to businesses, according to the press release.
