WSU officially begins research week

There will be numerous events, panels and competitions hosted throughout the week.



Research Week runs Oct. 11-15 and includes several lectures, presentations and competitions related to research.

WSU has officially begun research week to celebrate the opportunities and accomplishments of the universities research.

The week will run from Oct. 17-21 and will host a number of panels and events throughout the week, both in person and over zoom, according to WSU Insider.

There will be 2-3 events per day, with the final day of the week culminating in an awards ceremony, to commemorate this years winners of the research excellence awards and Research Week grant competitions, according to the WSU website.

In addition, the United States Patent and Trademark Office will be holding one on one meetings with students to discuss the patent process, according to Insider.
