The Husky Open is a rowing event that takes place on the Montlake Cut, on Lake Washington in Seattle. It is the beginning of the spring rowing season for the Cougs.

WSU’s novice eight-plus team of Katrina Trubnikov, Abby Cady, Damien Baldwin, Jennifer Rogg, Natalie Spring, Alexandria Nemecek, Grace Messmer, Makenna Bylund and Kelley Shoemaker placed second in their two-team race with a time of 7:33.924 in the 2,000-meter race.
