Annual Family Weekend events this weekend

Welcome back Cougs, and welcome Coug families!

I hope everyone had a great week so far, but with family weekend ahead of us, there is so much to do this weekend.

But, if you do not have family coming to town or are still looking for something to do around town next week, there is still a lot for you to take part in.

Fashion Show

  • What: The 41st annual family weekend fashion show, with a wine and beer garden
  • When: 5–9 p.m. April 5
  • Where: Beasley Coliseum
  • Cost: $25 pre-order, $35 at the door, $60 for VIP

Drag Show

  • What: Family weekend drag show featuring performances from local and international drag performers
  • When: 8 p.m. April 5
  • Where: Compton Union Building Senior Ballroom
  • Cost: $20 

Canine Fun Run

  • What: Annual Canine Canter 5k Fun Run
  • When: 8 a.m. April 6
  • Where: McGee Park in Pullman
  • Cost: $25, includes T-shirt

Cars and Clubs Festival

  • What: Family Weekend car festival with high-performance cars, interactive booths and entertainment
  • When: 10 a.m.–3 p.m. April 6
  • Where: Wilson Road

Plant Sale

  • What: Annual Horticulture Club Family Weekend Plant Sale
  • When: 10 a.m.–3 p.m. April 6–7
  • Where: Greenhouses by Ferdinand’s Ice Cream Shoppe

Family Weekend Festivities

  • What: Kick off family weekend by browsing the visitor center, with staff members there to help with getting around town
  • When: 8 a.m.–6 p.m. April 5–7
  • Where: Brelsford Visitor Center

Arts and Crafts Fair

  • What: Family Weekend Arts and Crafts Fair
  • When: 10 a.m.–9 p.m. April 5, 9 a.m.–4 p.m. April 6
  • Where: Beasley Coliseum 

ReCOUGaissance Fair

  • What: Renaissance fair with beer garden, food, archery, petting zoo and more
  • When: 4–9 p.m. April 12
  • Where: CUB

Celebration of Life

  • What: Ceremony to celebrate pets who have lost their lives
  • When: 10 a.m. April 13
  • Where: Elson S. Floyd Cultural Center

Movement in the Park

  • What: Accessible movement classes for all ages
  • When: 11 a.m. every Monday, Wednesday and Friday through May 17
  • Where: 1912 Center in Moscow
