The Cougars claimed a 4-0 win over North Texas in Tennis today, and will now be headed to the NIT Championship match.
There, they will face UNC Charlotte. With the win the Cougs advance to 19-8 on the season.
Junior Eva Alvarez Sande set the tone with a win in the No. 1 singles match. Maxine Murphy and Hania Aboulsaad joined as victorious solo players.
Meanwhile, in doubles, Alvarez Sande and Murphy combined to take down UNT’s top pair, and the duo of Tse and Chisato Kanemaki also earned a win, completing what was ultimately a clean sweep for Wazzu.
