Miles Chandler is a freshman right-handed pitcher from Seattle, Washington, who made his WSU debut in 2025.

Chandler played baseball at West Seattle High School and won a 3A State Championship with them in his senior season. He tossed 62.1 innings of 0.89 ERA ball while striking out 92. Perfect Game rated Chandler as the sixth-best right-handed pitching prospect in the state of Washington, and he was an all-state selection.

In his freshman season at WSU, Chandler made his debut against No. 5 Arkansas on February 14th. Throughout the season, he appeared in ten games, starting two. He threw 9.1 innings, finishing with 7 strikeouts and an ERA of 13.50.

Brandon Willman is a WSU and Daily Evergreen alumnus (class of ’24) who served in roles including staff writer, staff photographer, copy editor, multimedia editor and editor-in-chief during his time with the Evergreen. He started working as a sportswriter for the Daily Evergreen in Fall 2022 and worked as copy editor in spring 2023. Brandon was elected to be the Editor-in-chief starting in summer 2023 and served in the position from May 2023 to February 2024 before transitioning to the role of multimedia editor.
