Little Caesars opens in CUB

After months of construction, Little Caesars opened in the Compton Union Building Monday.

The location is open weekdays from 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. during the summer and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. during the school year. Students can pay for food with their student meal plans.

WSU Dining Services will operate the storefront, which also manages Carlitas and Freshëns.

The storefront will have a smaller menu than normal Little Caesars stores, WSU Student Affairs coordinator Sarah Larson said in January.

WSU announced plans to open a Little Caesars in the CUB in October 2024. The last time a pizza store opened in the CUB was Pizza Pipeline in 2013.

Makani is a senior double majoring in political science and criminal justice and minoring in environmental science. He was appointed managing editor in 2026 after previously serving as news editor and copy chief. Originally from Hawaii, he has found a home in Washington, where he plans to stay after graduating to pursue a career in law and public service.
