Pullman resident Robert Keller has been given a prison sentence for possessing child sexual abuse material.
Keller, 38, was ordered to serve five and a half years in prison last Friday in Whitman County Superior Court. This sentencing is on the middle-end of a standard sentencing for possession of child sexual abuse material.
Keller pleaded guilty to three counts of child pornography in July, and was sentenced for these three offenses. In November, Keller was initially arrested by Pullman Police Department officers for several counts of child pornography. Keller faced nineteen charges, sixteen of which have been dropped.
Prior to his current sentencing, Keller was convicted of one count of felony injury to a child in Idaho. After serving prison time, he repeatedly violated his probation conditions.
Following his release, Keller will be put on probation for three years and register as a sex offender. Keller will also be unable to own a gun, access the internet or consume any substances.
