Autumn has arrived, and with it comes the season of pumpkin-spice latte sipping, fireside sitting, cozy blanket chilling, and netflix binging.
The Daily Evergreen editors are already enjoying the seasons with some comfort shows and movies of their own. Here’s the official, Daily Evergreen autumn watchlist of 2025.
Connor Seuferling, Digital Managing Editor
The Lady and the Tramp (movie)
“It is a very wholesome movie, that I feel like anybody can circle around on a couch under a warm blanket …especially with the dogs eating the spaghetti, it gives such a warm feeling and I think that’s something we need during the fall season.”
Libby Jones, Life Editor
The Silence of the Lambs (movie)
“This is my favorite fall movie because it gets you in the mood for fall and it’s also really scary …it’s a gloomy movie full of moths and mystery.”
Laney Kulman, Life Editor
Adventure Time (show)
“There are a few episodes that are particularly fall-themed. For example, in season one there is an episode about being trapped in the house in the rain … similar to our current weather. It’s also just a cozy watch.”
Levi Coovert, Editor-in-Chief
Friends (show), How I Met Your Mother (Show), Ginny & Georgia (show)
“Sitcoms always get me in the mood for fall because of their slow-paced, character-driven action. Most sitcoms premiere in September, so they usually begin in the autumn months. Plus, they tend to be set in East Coast cities with beautiful autumn foliage, so it’s just perfect for the season.”
Smith Slye, Sports Editor
Shoresy (show), MLB Playoffs
“Shoresy, it’s a hockey show. As much as I love baseball, that’s the greatest sports show I’ve ever seen. And Mariners in the playoffs …it has been a long time since the Mariners have been this good, and if you asked me, I think this is the best the Mariners have ever looked in their existence. So if there is ever a time to watch the Mariners, it’s now.
Keaton Dernach, Photo Editor
Over the Garden Wall (show)
“Really encapsulates the cozy autumn. It’s a cute story about two brothers going on an adventure …it’s a short, fun, whimsical watch that’s easy to binge.”
Grace Harvey, News Editor
Harry Potter (film series)
“My roommate and I watched the whole series last October …the vibes are very Octobery, it felt right on season.”
