Students at WSU can vote in elections by registering through ‘Cougs Vote,’ which has resources available on campus.
Ben Calabretta, the director of the Center for Civic Engagement, verified that any student who is over 18 and meets eligibility can vote.
“WSU students can vote, should register to vote and are able to register in Pullman if they’d like,” Calabretta said.
Calabretta recommends that students at WSU should take the opportunity to participate in elections.
“Students here are going to be living here for four to five years anyway, so why not vote on issues that are a part of their community?”
The CUB has a voting hub located in the 2nd floor Senior Ballroom. Calabretta said that students can come in person to register to vote and cast their ballots that same day. This will take place from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Election Day.
