Operations at WSU are closed Wednesday due to severe winds.
Wind is expected to gust up to 75 miles per hour until 4 p.m. Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service.
Power has been knocked out due to winds for over 2,000 Pullman residents, according to Avista and Inland Power.

Power has not been lost in any buildings on the WSU campus, according to WSU spokesperson Pam Scott. WSU Facilities Services has been clearing trees downed by the windstorm.
Operations are expected to resume Thursday.
