After a week full of stressful midterms many students wanted a week to reset and relax.
Many Cougars traveled this spring break, however some wanted to stay home and catch up with their loved ones.
Student Tayler Bonzi spent her time at home with family.
“I enjoyed my time,” Bonzi said, “but I got really bad FOMO so when I saw everyone posting places. I wished I decided to go somewhere but overall I had a good time alone at home.”
Ellie Nathe also stayed home and spent her quality time with family.
“Over this spring break, I got to hang out with my family and friends, who I haven’t seen in awhile, I got to go to my favorite restaurants and I even had a fun campfire,” Nathe said.
The students who took the opportunity of the break to travel explored more tropical and warm places to truly take a break from Pullman.
Student Kaitlin Lust traveled to Hawaii.
“I got burnt,” Lust said. “Sitting on the beach and swimming in the ocean was my favorite. I loved the food, especially the poke.”
Other students such as Andrew Campea spent his break working.
“I spent my spring break roofing for my grandfather’s business,” Campea said. “Outside of working, I spent my time with my family and hanging out with friends playing golf, pickleball and poker.”
Cougs are in the final stretch and summer break is coming around, so students are starting early and building connections to work.
Whether it was staying home and catching up with loved ones, or traveling to a tropical destination, the Cougars appreciated the much-needed break.
