Man stabbed in Pullman Thursday night

No word on victim condition, police yet to release names

A 28-year-old man was stabbed just before 9 p.m. Thursday night on Valley Road in Pullman following an alleged altercation.

Pullman Police received calls from multiple people about an altercation on the 1500 block on Valley Road, Pullman Police Cmdr. Chris Tennant said.

“There was a fight and some type of stabbing on Valley Road,” he said. “There was a car being stolen.”

Police identified the victim as a 28-year-old male from either Clarkston or Lewiston. Preliminary findings indicate three people were involved, Tennant said. In addition to the man stabbed, a 23-year-old male suspect and a 22-year-old female were also involved.

There have been no arrests made and the male is in Tri-State Hospital in Lewiston, Tennant said. There has been no information made available on his condition.
