The University of Washington Husky Marching Band will not be at the Apple Cup on Friday after a bus carrying approximately 50 band members rolled over on Interstate 90 near George, Washington on Thursday night.

One of the charter busses carrying marching band members rolled over after driving off the road in icy conditions, according to the Washington State Patrol. There were no serious injuries, but approximately 45 members were taken to local hospitals for further evaluation.

The band stayed in George overnight and UW announced the band will not take part in the Apple Cup. UW also said there were 56 band members on the bus at the time of the crash and that two of them continued to remain in the hospital for further care of non-life-threatening injuries.
