Taylor Mims signs professional contract with team in Spain

WSU volleyball player Taylor Mims signed a professional contract with CV Haris in Tenerife, Spain, according to a WSU news release.

Mims was named to the All-Pac-12 First Team this past year and was selected to the U.S. Collegiate National Team-Europe for the second time.

Mims had 411 kills, a .224 hitting percentage, 215 digs and 14 blocks in her final season at WSU. In the Pac-12, she finished sixth in points per set and seventh in kills per set.

Mims is seventh all-time in kills at WSU with 1,310 kills, third in total points and 10th overall in attack percentage. She helped guide the Cougars to the third round of the NCAA Tournament this past year and the No. 16 overall seed.

CV Haris is in the Women’s Volleyball Super League in Spain and currently the team is atop the league standings by one point.
