Fujiyama Japanese Steakhouse & Bar will host its grand opening at 11 a.m. today for community members to sample its Hibachi-style cooking.

This is the first time the Palouse area will have a Hibachi-style restaurant, where the food is cooked on Hibachi grill tables in front of customers, according to a Fujiyama news release.

Fujiyama will be able to accommodate parties both large and small, according to the release.
