GIESORC to hold Lavender Graduation celebration

The WSU Gender Identity/Expression and Sexual Orientation Resource Center (GIESORC) will host its annual Lavender Graduation Celebration on Friday.

The celebration, held at the Banyans on the Ridge pavilion, will include a silent auction and social hour beginning at 6 p.m., according to a WSU news release.

The program begins at 7 p.m. and will have hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar.

Jeffrey Dodge, the UI associate dean of students, will deliver the keynote address, “Living an Authentic Life: Finding Inspiration, Purpose and Happiness in the Face of Adversity.”

The money raised at the event will support student programming in the GIESORC, according to the release.
