Whitman County investigators arrested Bud Hut Manager Jeremy West on Thursday for his alleged involvement in the robbery of the dispensary Monday morning.

West is being held on a Whitman County warrant for first-degree theft charges in the Latah County Jail, according to a press release from the Whitman County Sheriff’s Office. West will soon be extradited to Whitman County.

West reported that he was robbed at gunpoint and his vehicle was stolen to authorities Monday morning, according to the press release.

Investigators believe West helped plan the event and was involved in the crime, according to the press release. They also believe that West is a close friend of Kody Schneider, a suspect who is facing charges of first-degree robbery at the Whitman County Jail.

The case is still under investigation, according to the press release.
