The Washington State Department of Transportation will close State Route 26 east of Othello at 7 a.m. Monday up until Friday to undergo the final part of the bridge reparations.

Drivers must take the 32-mile detour through Connell, according to the WSDOT press release. Crews will replace the guardrail and rebuild the bridge approach with asphalt.

From April 29 through May 1, the bridge will operate with a one-lane, two-way traffic control, according to the release. Crews will take on construction projects like curbing and installing flexible guideposts.
