Health Care Authority sends tax forms to WSU employees

From staff reports

The Health Care Authority (HCA) sent out 1095 tax forms concerning Affordable Care Act-required health care coverage to WSU employees in late February.

This document is not needed to file taxes, but keeping it alongside other tax documents is recommended, according to a WSU news release.

HCA mailed the 1095-C forms to all WSU employees who worked 130 or more hours during any month in 2016 regardless of 2016 health care plan enrollment, and to any employee enrolled in a Uniform Medical Plan.

WSU employees enrolled in Kaiser or Group Health receive 1095-B forms. Employees who are covered will not receive a form.
