Doja Cat will not be performing on Jan. 31 because she “decided to cancel all upcoming university shows,” according to a press release from WSU Student Entertainment Board.

Purplepass will give refunds to students who purchased tickets to the concert. Students will receive $24 back, but will not receive the $2.42 service fee under Purplepass’ policy, according to the press release. Refunds will be disbursed between 7-10 business days.

Ladies Night, which is scheduled on Jan. 23, is also canceled, according to the press release.

The winner at Ladies Night would have been the opening act for Doja Cat.

Doja Cat would have been the first female headliner at WSU.

“The Student Entertainment Board is committed to creating a fun and entertaining experience for all students on campus,” WSU SEB wrote in the press release. “Although this cancellation was out of our control, we apologize and are working hard to plan more events and concerts for the rest of the semester.”
