National Weather Service issues dust storm warning

There will be a drop in visibility until storm passes; motorists advised to pull over

The National Weather Service has issued a dust storm warning for Whitman County and Adams County from now until 5:15 p.m. today. 

Residents should prepare for a drop in visibility until the dust storm passes, according to the warning. Motorists are advised to pull far off the road, park their vehicles, turn their lights off and keep their feet off the brake once visibility drops.

People with respiratory issues should take precautions until the dust storm passes, according to the warning. 

This is the third subsequent warning issued today. The first was issued around 1 p.m.
