Forty-three individuals tested positive for COVID-19, bringing Whitman County’s total to 913 cases.

Of those who tested positive, six females and nine males are in the 0-19 age range, according to a press release from the Whitman County Emergency Operations Center. Fourteen females and 13 males are in the 20-39 age range. One male is in the 40-59 age range.

All patients are stable and self-isolating, according to the press release.

Whitman County’s numbers are artificially reduced because there is a delay in receiving lab results, according to the press release.

There have been four outbreaks in congregate settings, including a long-term care facility, Greek housing, and dorms, within the last three weeks, according to the press release.

Residents are reminded to practice social distancing and wear masks.
