The Whitman County Superior Court judge will discuss information about the superior court during a virtual Brown Bag event hosted by the League of Women Voters of Pullman from 12-1 p.m. Tuesday.

Whitman County Superior Court Judge Gary Libey was asked to present because community members wanted to know more about what his job entails, said Libby Walker, LWV community outreach coordinator.

Many people do not know Libey, Walker said, and the event offers an opportunity to get to know Libey and how he approaches his job.

Attendees will learn about the kinds of cases held in a superior court versus a district court, she said. They will also learn about what occurs during jury duty.

The event is open to the public and the Zoom event link can be found on LWV’s website
