Whitman County confirms two deaths, 13 new COVID-19 cases

16 total deaths in Whitman County; five people in hospital

Two females over 80 years old have died from COVID-19, which brings Whitman County’s total deaths to 16.

Thirteen individuals tested positive for COVID-19, which brings the county’s total to 1,817 cases, according to a press release from the Whitman County Emergency Operations Center.

Of the new cases, one female and two males are aged 0-19 years. One female and two males are aged 20-39 years. Four males are aged 40-59 years. Two females and one male are aged 60-79 years.

Five people are in the hospital. All other patients are stable and self-isolating.

Residents are reminded to wear masks and practice social distancing.
