Six local artists and bands will perform at a house show hosted by the Palouse Music Community at 8 p.m. on Feb. 18 in Pullman.

The performers include Gatman, Half Step Ahead, Staring at the Sun, Hardly Known, Bathtub Toasters and Sanity Point.

“This is one of the first real house shows that our team gets to do this year,” Jack Christensen, founder and director of the Palouse Music Community, said. “To have six different artists come together to put out something great.”

Usually, the Community’s planned events feature performances with two to three artists, but Christensen said the Community is taking a different approach to its music events this year. This show features six artists to push the limit and see what talent is in the area, said Christensen.

“This is the biggest contribution of artists that we have had throughout Pullman at any of our events, so this is very special,” Christensen said.

The show’s headliner Gatman, also known as Will Kenyon, said that he had never had this many people coming through to check out one of his performances.

“It means a lot to see the community come together for this,” Gatman said.

The house show will be at 2045 NE Merman Drive in Building 253. Admission to the event is $5.
