WSU’s Kinesiology Activity Program hosts Fitness Palooza

Event will run in two separate multi-day periods

WSU’s Kinesiology Activity Program (KIN_ACTV) is hosting a Fitness Palooza where students can observe and participate in a number of activities offered by the program. 

The Palooza is scheduled for two separate weeks. The first runs between April 10–13th on Library Plaza from 11–1 p.m. each day and the second runs between April 18–20th at Grimes Way Soccer Field from 11–2 p.m. 

In the first set of activities, some of the highlights include Fencing, Tai Chi & Meditation and Judo & Wrestling. 

The second set includes flag football, soccer, basketball and much more. 

To encourage involvement, each activity includes challenges that students can complete in exchange for prizes such as backpacks, shirts, towels and more. 

Overall, the goal of the Kinesiology Activity Program is to promote; wellness, lifelong activity pursuits, social engagement, skill building and attainment, physical activity engagement, invest in further opportunities the community and beyond, and sustainability of healthy communities, according to the KINACTV website.
