Dylan Paine is a redshirt senior running back from Tumwater, Washington.

Paine walked on at WSU in 2020 and did not play in 2020 or 2021. He was able to play as a redshirt freshman in his third year on campus in 2022, due to the extra year of eligibility gained from COVID.

Paine appeared in 11 games in 2022, the most he has played in a season at WSU. He rushed for 64 yards on 15 carries, while catching four passes for 33 yards.

In his sophomore year, Paine played in nine games and had his most productive season as a Cougar. Paine rushed for 150 yards on 25 attempts and scored his first collegiate touchdown. He added a five-yard reception.

Paine was limited to just five games in 2024, but made the most of his opportunities. He rushed for 40 yards and found the end zone twice on nine attempts, and also made two tackles on special teams.
