Raam Stevenson is a senior defensive end for the Cougars who has spent four years at WSU.
Stevenson is from Arlington, Texas, and played football at Mansfield Timberview High School. He broke out as a sophomore, with 36 tackles, 13 tackles for loss, nine sacks, two fumbles forced and a fumble recovery. He continued his strong high school career the next year, when he again managed 36 tackles. He added 12 tackles for loss, eight sacks, two fumbles forced and a pick-six.
Stevenson was rated by ESPN and 247Sports as a three-star prospect, and committed to WSU where he sat out the 2021 season as a redshirt, besides his lone appearance against Arizona.
In 2022, he played in 12 games but was mostly used in a reserve role. He made seven tackles and defended a pass.
Stevenson continued to grow in 2023. He appeared in 10 games and made 16 tackles, including a tackle for loss.
In his junior campaign, Stevenson had his best year yet. He played in all 13 of WSU’s games in 2024, making 15 tackles. That included three tackles for loss and a pair of sacks.
