Ben Beatty is a redshirt freshman defensive end from Park City, Utah.

Beatty played football at Park City High School. In his senior season, he made 55 tackles, 12 sacks and 23 tackles for loss. He also forced two fumbles and recovered one, helping him earn the MVP Award for Utah Region X.

Beatty was rated as a three-star prospect by 247Sports, and was able to walk on at WSU in 2024. He did not appear in a game and utilized a redshirt season. He declined offers from San Diego State University and the University of Nevada to walk on at Wazzu.

Brandon Willman is a WSU and Daily Evergreen alumnus (class of ’24) who served in roles including staff writer, staff photographer, copy editor, multimedia editor and editor-in-chief during his time with the Evergreen. He started working as a sportswriter for the Daily Evergreen in Fall 2022 and worked as copy editor in spring 2023. Brandon was elected to be the Editor-in-chief starting in summer 2023 and served in the position from May 2023 to February 2024 before transitioning to the role of multimedia editor.
