Christian Hilborn is a redshirt senior on the offensive line who has spent his entire collegiate career at WSU.
Hilborn played at Highland High School in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was a defensive standout, totaling 7 sacks and 13.5 tackles for loss in his junior year. However, he proved to be even better on the offensive line and was named the No. 13 prospect in Utah by ESPN.
Coming to WSU, Hilborn appeared in two games in 2021, and utilized a redshirt. The next season, as a redshirt freshman, he started all 13 games. The first ten games of the 2022 season saw Hilborn as the Cougars’ starting left guard, and he transitioned to left tackle in the team’s final three games. He earned the team’s best offensive line grade in two of thirteen games.
The next season, Hilborn again started every game of the season for Wazzu. He remained on the left side, starting eight games at left guard and four at left tackle.
In 2024, Hilborn started 11 games for WSU. He started the first five games at right tackle, then started three at left guard and two at right guard. In the Holiday Bowl against No. 21 Syracuse, Hilborn returned to right tackle. He also logged 16 snaps at left tackle, meaning Hilborn successfully navigated four positions in one season.
