Landon Wright is a redshirt freshman wide receiver for the WSU football team from Fresno, California.
Wright played football at Clovis West High School, where he broke out as a sophomore. In his sophomore season, he caught 34 passes, going for 518 yards and five touchdowns.
He improved in his junior year of high school, catching 42 passes for 776 yards and eight scores. He was rewarded with a first-team all-conference selection.
Wright had a dominant senior year, hauling in 66 receptions, 1,406 yards and 15 touchdowns. ESPN and 247Sports rated him as a three-star prospect, and 247Sports ranked Wright as the N0. 82 prospect in the state of California.
Wright came to WSU in 2024 and did not appear in a game, utilizing a redshirt.
