Beau Baker is a redshirt freshman tight end who transferred to WSU from South Dakota State University in 2025.

Baker grew up in Springfield, Kentucky, and played football at Washington County High School. There, he played quarterback and was a two-time all-conference selection.

Across two seasons as a quarterback and tight end at Washington County HS, Baker threw for 3,150 yards and 22 touchdowns, while also catching 28 passes for 482 yards and nine touchdowns.

He went to SDSU in 2024 as a tight end and spent 2024 as a redshirt year, not appearing in a game. He transferred to WSU in 2025, following head coach Jimmy Rogers.
