Jack Janikowski is a redshirt sophomore defensive end for the WSU football team from Fallbrook, California.

After attending Cathedral Catholic High School, Janikowski joined his older brother Dean at WSU in 2023.

He did not appear in a game in 2023, instead utilizing a redshirt.

In 2024, Janikowski made his WSU debut against Portland State University. He went on to appear in eight games, playing mostly on special teams as a member of the hands team. He made one kick return for 13 yards.

Jack’s older brother Dean spent four seasons as the kicker for WSU.

Brandon Willman is a WSU and Daily Evergreen alumnus (class of ’24) who served in roles including staff writer, staff photographer, copy editor, multimedia editor and editor-in-chief during his time with the Evergreen. He started working as a sportswriter for the Daily Evergreen in Fall 2022 and worked as copy editor in spring 2023. Brandon was elected to be the Editor-in-chief starting in summer 2023 and served in the position from May 2023 to February 2024 before transitioning to the role of multimedia editor.
