Ryan Harris is a redshirt sophomore kicker and punter for the WSU football team from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
After attending Westview High School, Harris began his collegiate career in 2023 at San Diego Mesa College. He punted 55 times in his freshman season, averaging 38.9 yards per punt. He went 14-14 on point after attempts, but made just two of seven field goal opportunities.
In 2024, he transferred to WSU and walked on the football team. He appeared in three games and made 23 kickoffs, with 16 going for touchbacks. He also recorded two tackles on special teams.
Harris won Special Teams Player of the Week after the Cougars’ win over Portland State University. With Dean Janikowski’s graduation, Harris will likely take over as the team’s primary kicker in 2025.
