WSU’s Murrow College of Communication, in partnership with Northwest Public Broadcasting, will host a free screening of “Good Night, and Good Luck” on Broadway at 3 p.m. June 9 in Goertzen Hall, room 21.
Water and ice cream sandwiches will be provided no charge.
“Good Night, and Good Luck” on Broadway is set to make it’s prime-time debut two days prior, airing live at 4 p.m. PT June 7 on CNN.
The Broadway show follows Edward R. Murrow (George Clooney) as he stands up against Senator Joseph McCarthy in the 1950s. The show has been nominated for five Tony Awards and garnered prasie from critics.
Murrow attended WSU from 1926 to 1930, graduating with a bachlor’s degree in speech.
