Summer has arrived in Pullman! As the year winds down and students head off to their summer activities, there is still plenty to do this coming week in Pullman.
Stop by and have your weekly breakfast at Zeppoz. Support your Cougar baseball team during their last home game of the season against the Seattle University Redhawks. Put your boots on and dance on over to Whelan-Ewartsville Grange to spend your night line dancing. Go celebrate your fellow Cougars during spring commencement as they head off to all their endeavors in this week’s “what’s happening.”
- Pups and Cups Game Night – Pups and Cups Cafe hosts weekly game nights from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. every Friday night. This free event has a variety of games, such as board games, cards and video games.
- Zeppoz Weekends Breakfast – From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays, and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sundays, Zeppoz holds a full breakfast and service bar.
- Farmers Market – From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. every Saturday, Pullman Market on Main holds their local farmers market in downtown Pullman.
- Vintage Quilt Show – The fifth annual quilt show will be held from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on May 9 at the Pullman Depot. The event is held to share family’ history. A donation of $5 is suggested but not required.
- West Coast Swing and Line Dance Lessons – West Coast swing and line dance lessons will be held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., recurring weekly on Tuesdays at Whelan-Ewartsville Grange Hall. An entrance fee of $10 is required.
- Rico’s Pub Trivia Night – From 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. every Tuesday, Rico’s Pub holds trivia night, where they raise money for local non-profits.
- Craft Lounge – The Moscow Public Library will be holding a craft lounge from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday May 7. The library holds monthly craft lounges where they offer monthly crafts for adults or you’re welcome to bring your own projects to work on.
- Horticulture Club Sale – WSU’s Horticulture Club will be holding a local gardeners sale from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on May 8 at the greenhouses near Ferdinand’s. The event will be repeated on May 15 and 22 at the same time and place. They will be selling tomatoes, peppers, flowers, geraniums and much more.
- Murrow Award Ceremony and Open House – Come out and celebrate Murrow’s class of 2026. The celebration will be held from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on May 8 in Gortzon Hall 21. Come and celebrate this special occasion and celebrate the achievements of this graduating class.
- WSU Baseball vs. Seattle University – WSU Cougars will face off against the Seattle University Redhawks at 4:05 p.m. on May 12 at the Bailey-Brayton Field.
- Spring Commencement – It is time! WSU’s commencement ceremony is here. The school-wide commencement ceremony will be held May 9 in Besley Coliseum. All colleges will be graduating at either 8 a.m., 12 p.m. or 3:30 p.m. Congratulations to the Class of ‘26!
