Hundreds of volunteers will visit neighborhoods around the Palouse area Saturday morning, asking for donations of non-perishable food and personal care items for local food banks and pantries.

Along with door-to-door donation collecting, Pullman and Moscow will be hosting a community event with food, music, fundraising games and auctions located at Real Life, Eastside Marketplace in Moscow and Zeppoz in Pullman. Auction doors open at 11 a.m. while live auctions begin at 12 p.m. in Moscow and 1 p.m. in Pullman

All donations to the food drive and proceeds from the auctions benefit local food banks and local non-profit organizations that support families in need.
